Plain language summary: By using LuxConiq, you agree to use it as a wellness tool — not a medical device. We provide measurements to help you make informed decisions about your lighting environment. We are not responsible for clinical health decisions made based on the app.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using LuxConiq ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the App.

These Terms form a legally binding agreement between you and Voraky Retail LLP ("we", "us", "our"), the company behind LuxConiq, registered in India.

2. Description of Service

LuxConiq is a consumer wellness application that:

Measures ambient light, blue light hazard, colour temperature, flicker, outdoor time, and air quality using your device sensors and camera
Computes a VScore™ Myopia Risk Index based on these measurements
Provides circadian alignment advice, vision acuity screening, and PDF health reports
Supports multiple family member profiles under one account

⚕️ Not a medical device: LuxConiq is a research-grade consumer wellness tool. It does not provide clinical diagnoses, prescriptions, or medical advice. Measurements are approximate and for informational purposes only. Always consult a qualified ophthalmologist or medical professional for clinical assessment of vision health.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account
By creating a family profile for a child, you confirm you are the parent or legal guardian and consent on their behalf
You must provide accurate registration information

4. Account Responsibilities

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account
Notify us immediately at luxconiq@gmail.com if you suspect unauthorised access
One account may support up to 5 family members (Pro Family plan)

5. Subscriptions and Billing

LuxConiq offers the following subscription plans, billed through Google Play:

Free: Core features, no charge
Pro Basic: ₹299/month or ₹2,490/year
Pro Family: ₹499/month or ₹3,990/year

Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date. Cancellations and refunds are managed through the Google Play Store per their policies. We do not process refunds directly.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from the App
Use the App to make clinical medical decisions without professional consultation
Share your account credentials with persons outside your immediate family
Use automated tools to scrape data from the App
Misrepresent LuxConiq measurements as clinical diagnostic results
Use the App in any way that violates applicable Indian or international law

7. Intellectual Property

LuxConiq, VScore™, and the underlying measurement algorithms are the intellectual property of Voraky Retail LLP. Patent applications P1–P5 are pending with the Indian Patent Office (inventors: Mahendra Bhardwaj Dalai & Samir Kumar Patro).

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes.

8. Measurement Accuracy

Measurements depend on your device's sensor quality, ambient conditions, and correct usage. LuxConiq provides best-effort estimates. Accuracy varies by:

Device camera and light sensor capability
Environmental interference (e.g. mixed light sources)
User technique during measurements

We do not warrant that any specific measurement is accurate to clinical standards.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Indian law, Voraky Retail LLP shall not be liable for:

Any health decisions made based on LuxConiq measurements
Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
Data loss due to account deletion or device failure
Service interruptions beyond our reasonable control

Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Brahmapur, Odisha, India.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms when we add features or when law requires. We will notify you via in-app notification at least 7 days before material changes take effect. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
