After signing in and completing your profile:

• Go to the Home tab — your ambient light VScore starts immediately (no action needed)
• Tap the VScore ring → "Tap VScore to Measure" to run a full scan
• Or go to the Test tab → tap "Run Full Scan" to measure all parameters in sequence

A full VScore uses all 6 parameters. If some tests haven't been run yet, VScore shows a partial score with a prompt to complete the scan.

• Camera — required for Blue Light, CCT, Flicker, and Vision tests. Camera frames are processed on-device and never stored.
• Location — used only to find the nearest AQI monitoring station (city-level, not precise GPS).
• Notifications — optional, for circadian reminders and daily VScore alerts.

• 70–100 SAFE — your lighting environment supports eye health
• 40–69 CAUTION — one or more parameters need attention
• 0–39 DANGER — your environment poses significant myopia risk, immediate changes recommended

Thresholds vary by room mode (Study, Office, Living, Baby, Sleep) and age group (child vs. adult).

Blue Light measurement requires a camera scan. Go to Test → Blue Light & CCT and tap Start Scan. Point the camera at your primary light source (ceiling light or lamp) and hold steady for 3 seconds. The result will save and appear in your VScore.

If the result still shows 0%, ensure the camera has a clear view of the light source and scan quality is above 40%.

No — this means the Flicker test hasn't been run yet for this session. The VScore engine automatically excludes Flicker from the calculation and renormalises the other weights so your score remains valid. Run the Flicker test under Test → Flicker Scan to get a complete measurement.

This was a known bug (Bug J) fixed in v1.0.0. The app now reads today's outdoor history from Firestore on every launch, so your outdoor minutes persist across sessions. Update to the latest version if you're seeing this.

Go to the Family tab → tap the "+" button next to existing members → fill in name, age, and room mode preference → tap Save. Pro Family plan supports up to 5 members. Pro Basic supports 1 additional member.

Yes. LuxConiq applies age-appropriate standards automatically based on the member's age group:

• Outdoor time target: Children need 90 min/day; adults need 60 min/day
• Lux thresholds: Children's study environments require higher minimum lux
• Blue light limits: Stricter for children under 12

Subscriptions are managed through Google Play:

• Open Google Play Store → tap your profile icon → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions
• Find LuxConiq → tap Cancel subscription

Cancel at least 24 hours before your renewal date to avoid being charged. You'll retain Pro access until the end of the billing period.

Refunds are handled by Google Play per their refund policy. You can request a refund within 48 hours of purchase directly from Google Play. For refund requests after 48 hours, email us at luxconiq@gmail.com and we'll assess on a case-by-case basis.

Go to Settings → Account → Delete Account. This permanently deletes all your measurements, family profiles, PDF reports, and account data within 30 days. This action is irreversible.

No. We do not sell, share, or monetise your personal or health data in any way. Your measurements stay in your Firebase account (Mumbai region). See our Privacy Policy for full details.
